Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) or Menara Berkembar Petronas were the tallest buildings in the world for six years, 1998 to 2004 until Taipei 101 was completed in 2004. The building were completed on 1st March 1996 and officially opened by Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad on 1st August 1999. The height of that building is 421 meters and have 88 level. At the level 41, the towers feature a double decker skybridge connecting the two towers on the 41st and 42nd floors, which is the highest 2-story bridge in the world. The skybridge is open to all visitors, but tickets are limited to about 1000 people per day, and must be obtained on a first-come, first-served basis. Initially, the visit was free but in 2010, the tickets started being sold by Petronas.

Suria KLCC
Suria KLCC is currently the only and main commercial center in the KLCC area. The shopping mall occupies space underneath the Petronas Twin Towers and shares its parking lot with it and you will almost daily see commercials about this mall on local television channels at your hotel. Besides shopping options you have a large cinema, an orchestra hall (Dewan Filharmonik Petronas), an aquarium, a convention center, an art gallery and a beautiful park.

KLCC Park
The park is unique in its theme and concept. This verdant area accentuated with specially designed water features is a work of art.
It features various amenities such as a two-acre children's playground, symphony fountain, wading pool, jogging track, shelters and benches, patterned foot-paths and sculptures.
Park Feature
Lake Symphony
Lake Symphony is a 10,000 square meter man made lake with water fountains. The main fountain can shoot water up to a height of 42 meters. The water features are a daily event, occurring every day at noon and in the evenings.
Jogging Track and Foot path
A 1.3 km. long jogging track is covered with EPDM, a special rubberized material for comfort and safety. Rest areas are provided along interconnecting footpaths and numbered on the local map.
Ornamental Water Features
Various waterfalls, fountains, cascade and reflecting pools are scattered around the park.
Children Playground
A children's playground with a public pool is located on the west side of the park.
Mosque
As Malaysia is a predominately Muslim country, KLCC Park features one of Kuala Lumpur's most beautiful mosques, the As Syakirin Mosque.
